dear craig.

dear craig, thank you for making a list. and turning into a website. a very comprehensive one, with lots of free stuff on it. today i picked up two free dressers (one is ready to use and totally vintage, the other is a project for sure) and some other assorted odds and ends. my car has been a traveling furniture storage unit for the past week or so, everyone around here is having garage sales left and right now that the sun is coming out. i. love. garage sales. and free furniture. and the fact that craig's list clues me into where to find them.

also on craigslist.com i found a listing for a TON of free moving boxes. i'll be moving soon, i can use those...so i picked some up. and then was inspired to start packing. i wasn't expecting it to make me sad, because i'm so excited about the house i'm moving into. but packing put me in a nostalgic mood. there are definitely things i'm going to miss about my quaint little basement room! also, i didn't really think i had that much stuff, but once i started putting it in boxes, i realized that i have more than i thought. i'm glad i have several days so i can pack slowly.
