since moving up here i have been serving every sunday in the children's ministry at my church. i teach the 5 and 6 year old's, and they are quite the silly bunch. we definitely have some bold personalities in the group, which ranges from 10-20 kids on any given sunday. we have a tiny room and only about 10 chairs, so we have to get creative :) it's always more fun to act out the lesson, and the kids love it- so this past sunday, the reeds and i taught the kids the story of when jesus calmed the storm by scavanging the costume closet and using the table as a ship. i narrated, under the guise of "aunt jemima." (could we have picked a more random name??)
