these past few days have been full of lots and lots of love.
it was so wonderful to FINALLY (after a year) see the faces of the kappa girls that i love so much, ones that know my heart and who i love dearly. i didn't realize how much i have missed them this year until all of a sudden my heart was so full of joy when i hugged their necks!! we all celebrated together with emily as she married jin, i could hardly keep from watching the two of them all evening. any other time, this would be creepy, but at a wedding, i think it's perfectly acceptable! he kept kissing her face and she kept standing right in his arms, it was fun to watch them be so in love. i've gotten to hear much of their story first hand over the past couple of years... many emily conversations over lattes at come college station coffee shop or another. i love how she seeks Jesus so steadfastly, and how he challenges her to do so. i love how genuine she is, and how he complements that in her. i love how passionate they both are. basically, i just love them. i'm so glad i made it back for the wedding, what a treat to celebrate with them in person!
today had in store two more heartfelt conversations, one over lunch and one over a beer at a great little place here in fort worth called the ginger man (if you ever see one, check it out!). two women who i love dearly and respect greatly. it was so refreshing to talk with them, to be silly with them, to remember with them. what a treat to see them while i'm here, i've missed them so!
these past few days have just been so loco, nonstop the whole time. aka, bedtime for me. i just wanted to write a quick little post on a couple of the many reasons there's so much love in my heart today.
love,
tracey
